Default tomberlin hall effect sensor

replacing my hall effect sensor in my 2005 Tomberlin emerge 500. they don't make the same old sensor there is a new one now. How do I wire it up correctly?

you have to swap the 2 outside wires. Very easy, and dump the circuit board.

what do you mean dump the circuit board? disconnect it? and where is it located?

Does your hall effect sensor have the circuit board on it? If so you dont use it any more.

yes has circuit board built in. the plugs look different. is there an adaptor or do i re-terminate the cart plugs?

Dont use the circuit board. The plug will plug into the sensor no problem

my cart does not have a circuit board. then new sensor is the same size and everything just has different connections on it. old one has 2 prongs on left and 1 on right. new sensors have all 3 prongs on the left tight together. and different style of connection. Any idea how to hook that up? wish i could send a picture

You can attach pictures if you have some. Use the “Manage Attachments” link below your post.
