2012 YDRE No Power to Solenoid but Tow/Run Switch Works
I am assuming that all directions point to a bad controller.
It has a 500A FSIP with a GE Motor. Turn on Tow mode, all is off. Turn off Tow mode, battery meter stays permanently lit regardless of key position. Solenoid does not click (Although maybe this controller, does not have a startup click?) Turning switch to Reverse position from FWD turns on Reverse buzzer. Any ideas what to try? Batteries are fresh and charged. |

I am not sure. You checked the ignition switch? You check all of the wiring and it is free of corrosion or shorts? Could be the controller certainly but I hope not. If it is, get an allTrax.

Which fsip controller? If it's the GE (grey box) I'm not sure.

Interesting update.
Was checking all the wiring and related. Found out the Solenoid coil wires had aftermarket crimped bullet connectors that were not making proper contact. I have fixed this, and I am now able to drive the cart in reverse. However the cart will not drive forwards. I can hear the solenoid click once and not proceed. I am betting the solenoid may be bad. thoughts? |

If it drives in reverse, itz not the solenoid. The solenoid doesnt know what direction you want to go, it's just a big On/Off switch.

Check out controller plugs 4 & 5, they are the "F" & "R" wires.
