2016 bad boy recoil 4or help

Hello I have a 2016 recoil is. I'm wondering if anybody has done anything to the 4x4 system. Once the back tires spin the mc cuts power to the rear wheels and apply more power to the front end. So basically in forward it goes from 4wd to 2wd when rear tires spin. But if you put buggy In reverse it stays 4x4. Does anyone know what tells it to cut power from rear to front while in forward? Also could I possibly swap the wires from forward and reverse switch and it fix the issue? I'm trying to find a solution or I'm going to sell this thing and find me a true 4x4 cart. Any and all help will be appreciated
