Smile New Motor for Cushman Scotsman

I have a 1964 Cushman Scotsman with the original motor but no one's really sure on how to hook it up. However, I'm wanting to put in a bigger motor so I can turn it into a wheelie machine, wheelie bar and all. What should I look for in a motor? I've been looking at the motors Harbor Freight has. I don't really need reverse with it being so light. Any help is appreciated.

It's electric, but maybe give you something to shoot for!?

You got a picture or 10 of yours? I like the old carts.

Kind of but I want real power, not put it in reverse then forward real quick to bring up the front wheel.

These are the only pics I have of it. It's been sitting in my garage for a little over a year just trying to decide what to do with it.

Yeah, that's cool. Pretty clean really, considering it's age. Needs some work for sure, but how gratifying will that be when it's done!?!?!?

That's a cool cart!

wondering if It was sold through sears with that decal on it. Crazy how a company like that has dwindled so far downward. From selling tools, clothing, appliances, motorcycles, apparently golf carts also to houses all mail order to almost non existence. They where basically amazon before amazon.
