Some people were using Greyhound Bus to ship larger packages, good prices.

Mike,

On the adhesion promoter, I have used the Duplicolor with great success...

As for repairing the body, read about halfway down the first page on my post...

Those 2 3M product work great !!!! Repaired/plugged holes and deep gouges
that absolutely did not show in the final paint !!!

Hope this helps !

I used the repair stuff for car bumpers, for plastic. Its just like bondo, wet sand it down, they also make primer for that or rub strip paint. Its all called flexible still try to keep thickness to a minimum and it tends to sand better wet other than roughing the filler if you have to. I fixed the holes with the stuff, then primed and blocked, then primed all of it with a thin coat or two so I didn't have to paint on bare plastic, wet sanded with 600 I think, but I used automotive paint. I used the promoter on the plastic before I started filling/priming, I would scrub the blank out of it with dish soap or something to strip it of any wax/dirt before anything. I washed mine with naptha cause I always do but wipe it off fast it will soften the plastic and you don't want that, then promoter and start filling and priming. If you want to put the work into it you can make it look new, its up to your budget and time. The automotive plastic flexible filler will glue the stuff together if you use it right, don't worry about it coming out you can glue pieces into holes with that stuff.

thanks Tex. i tried the duplicolor adhesive promoter in a few spots on the cowl I removed in a few different ways with my new paint and it seems to be compatible with the krylon paint. another worry was because i had layers of paint and had to remove most of it due to poor adheasion. chipping mostly. took most of it down and hit a spot with it. didn't seem to have adverse affects. Will reclean everthing and hoping to spray tomorrow
