Default Crown batteries vs. Others

Just got a quote of $102.00 ea. with exchange on Crown CR225 Batteries. I see the specs are the same as Trojan T105's. But are they as dependable? Anyone have experience with the Crowns? I live near a Crown Factory and they will deliver them to me and pick up the old ones....very convenient!

I have a six pack of Crown CR190's (48v) in my TXT. Just starting their 4th year. Heavy use the first two years but light use the third year. Very stout. No issues so far but we will see.
They came from a place with rapid inventory turnover so no stale batteries. They have spent their entire life on a DPI charger which "floats" them when not actively charging.

The original batteries in my 2010 CC were Crowns date coded June 2010. The first 2 years were golf cart rental. I bought the cart in 2012. They lasted until August 2016 when I replaced them. I felt like they served me well.

Dan, CROWN's are quality batteries, and you can't go wrong with them. Or Trojan's or Interstate from my experience.

Gonna have to install Grammarly on your computer for you dude Where Redneck and I work we've only used Crown for the past 4 years. Amazing support from them, and they will actually warranty batteries unlike the other names mentioned in this thread. Their batteries are said to have more lead in them and most older sets we see are holding up well so far.

Yea....Just installed the new batteries. Delivered by the factory rep. with a young guy who lifted the old ones out and lifted the new ones in. Great price, great service. It's really cold here but just a short jaunt to check out the performance. Instantly could tell the acceleration difference. No hills to check it on torque but I'm betting it will be a bit better than the 5 year old batteries that came out of it. They even came fully charged. Just a little follow up....The only thing I missed was the speed caps so I went to the factory store to purchase 6 of them. I was quoted about $16.00 on the phone. When I got there they actually just gave them to me. I am a big supporter of Crown Battery Company!
