Humming/Clicking Noise in Rear End
There is a Humming / Clicking Noise coming from the rear end - even though it does it when the throttle is not engaged and when I am coasting - could it be coming from the motor?

Re: Humming/Clicking Noise in Rear End
Welcome to the forum br549.................
When you say "rear end", do you mean the axle assembly or just under the back of the cart? We need more information on your cart. Since you posted in Electric E-Z-GO, we figure it is as such but we need the year or the numbers from the cart. The numbers are usually in the passenger side glove box or just under it. Let us know what the numbers are. Is it a metal body or plastic body? |

Rusty - thanks for the warm welcome and the guidance - it is an '05 PDS and the noise seems to come from the axle assembly.

Re: Humming/Clicking Noise in Rear End
Did you ever figure out you rear end problem? I have a 2003 EZ-GO and I'm having the same issue. Popping or clicking sound from the left rear hub area.
Thanks! |
