I forgot yours is an 05. EZGO changed the steering in 2001.5. Cart is looking good hope you are able to figure out the toe problem.

Al your cart looks good!!! It sure does appear that you do need a shorter
tie rod.

I'm thinking that this front lift is the same as what is used on an ST 350 (NEWER STYLE?)....the rear is different for the workhorse(MPT) so I should be able to get the tie rod for a newer style steering box on a ST and solve my problem.......I'm grasping at straws here....

thanks again for the replies so far.....

AL

also, I was told elswhere that a shorter tie rod will affect the turning radius...???....that can be adjusted on the steering link (rack) couldn't it?

You can cut and weld if you feel confident enough to do that. I'm a welder by trade so its easy for me to say that I guess..its not so simple for others.

Could you get a metal rod the length you need and tap each end for the tie rods, so if you ever decide to put it back you can?

night shots..I'll get better ones later

I think I'll cut it and weld it back together later this week. BTW I measured the stock axel =30" wide...and the jakes =28" wide...looked ok after all was said and done..I Thought I was gonna need spacers in the rear to even it out ....guess not unless I put'em all the way around

Thanks for all your help!!!!!!
