The best place to ground your engine would be a starter mount bolt. I would make a Y cable from the battery to the starter bolt and then to the frame.

So I installed my new custom 4ga battery cables and grounded to the engine mounting bolt thru the cradle and it cranks over not only great but faster too
Cleaned out the carb and pilot jet it wasn’t completely stopped up but dirty somewhat now if I can just get my tractor muffler installed. I need one piece of pipe still to connect to the
Flex tubing hope to get that done this week

Need help trying to install my muffler this cable is in the way of my exhaust pipe I THINK it’s something to do with factory governor can I just remove it help please !

Yep, if its not being used...it's the governor arm.

I spoke with Jay at OEM the company that manufactures comet clutch about how to Tell from a Chinese knock off the only way was to remove the bolts in front
He also added they looking at making it easier to identify I got my latest one today from Black Friday special

I'm thinking mine is a knockoff. Now I'm interested. What are we looking for inside, just the printed name etc?

SLO take the 3 retaining bolts off the outside and under that ring should be some markings
It’s probably a comet
This is the first one I’ve seen with the new markings

When we first started talking about knock off comets - go back and read HBR's thread. The cover bolts required a 10mm wrench to turn them out.
