Yes But I see you can now buy just the flap on e bay for $8-10, but the whole unit is like $70.

That reed doesn't look all that bad to me but replacing is never a bad idea.
Have you checked your spark recently? The backfiring / sputtering has me concerned. That can be a sign of an ignition module on the blink. |

I think I'm just gonna throw it back together for now until I get my parts. That way I can check compression as well. That's the only thing I havent done yet
