Default Upgrade question 48 Volt

I am making a hunting buggy out of a 1994 txt. Stripped it to bare frame, and starting the rebuild. I have the 48 volt batteries, heavy duty FNR switch, Heavy duty solenoid, 2 gauge welding wires, and a programable 500 amp controller.
My question is who is running the same setup with the stock motor? just wanting to hear some results good or bad.

Program the throttle response down if you can. They tend to start up too hard for their own good I like the progressive throttle pattern on a 3 or 5 setting..3 if others will drive it.

You guys don't burn up the stock motors with that kind of amperage?

The series motors take the 48 volts very well. Actually the higher voltage draws less amperage .....
