Re: Tire Pressure
I think what pressure you run depends on what tire/rim combo you have and what type of terrain you ride on. My thoughts are for smooth level terrain you can run higher pressures for better handling. For loose terrain, take some pressure out. You have to really play with the pressure a bit and find out what is the best "all around" pressure.
Oh, and I run 8 psi front, 10 psi back. Running 15 psi on my tires gets me an additional 1/2" of ground clearance and very stiff sidewalls. |

Re: Tire Pressure
I run 6-8 in front it steers better, then 12-15 in the rears depending on how much towing/load I haul. Run the low end for trail riding, I can get the rear to slide out just a little but more now that I have a clone in it. Sometimes I haul sand or firewood on it and with a 30x40x8 box I need 15psi in the rears. It makes them 23 tall so it gets some speed with high pressure but rides hard on the trails that way with no load. I also run 2lb more in the driver rear than the pass side rear, as I ride alone at times.
