My golf cart is 30 yrs old and still going strong, although I would like to upgrade to a 4 hp motor instead of the 2hp original, just seeking some advice on which motor will suit, I have upgraded the resister coils to ScottyB's Marathon equipment HD solenoid, Alltrax 500 axe reverse contactor , this week I pulled the motor out and blew 30 yrs of crap out of it, cleaned all to a shiny surface put it all back together so we will see how it goes at golf today cheers Laurie |

You mean you play golf with your cart? And here I thought we were suspossed to hop em up and go terrorize the neighbors. Boy did I do it all wrong. Lol. Really good to hear a 30 year old cart still has what it takes. Enjoy it my friend.

I wouldn’t mind joining picked this up a couple months ago didn’t look anything like this but here it is all finished up. It’s a 1988 2 smoker.

30 year old body, everything else is new, turned into a series cart with ScottyB's update, new rocker switch HD reverse contactors, rear disc bakes with 10" mags, slow at the moment waiting for an Admiral B1 motor & for the batteries to start to die and be replaced with 6X8v for 48v
