Drain plug size for 1992 G9 Transmission
Does anyone know the size, I want to get magnetic drain plugs, primarily for the transmission but also for the engine while I’m at it?

Re: Drain plug size for 1992 G9 Transmission
So why dont you make them yourself? Been doing it for years. Drill a recess in the plug & stuff a magnet in.
Why "buy", when you can "make" for almost free. |

I’d have to buy a magnet. Rather spend the what, $5-$10 on a plug and just call it a day. It’s almost a 30 year old cart, head is starting to strip as well. I’ve gotten a fair life out of that part |

90340-14036-00 PLUG, STRAIGHT SCREW
Looks like it's a 14mm bolt, but I make no guarantees. That part number is for a stock drain plug, not one with a magnet in it. I got the part number just to get some size info. |
