Changed my BMS (ZEVA) settings....I think I got it right
Seems like I have to "re-learn" (maybe it's double check) what each setting is for.
Last week I changed one of my settings (I think it was each cell's Max Voltage) and then got a "Cell overcharge" warning. Wasn't an actual overcharge but according to my settings it (ZEVA) just did what it (ZEVA) was told to do. So, my new settings for today is as follows: Max Charge Voltage: 57V BMS Max V (per cell): 4.08 Balance V (per cell)...: 4.07 BMS Min V (per cell): 3.14 Full V.....................: 56V So, before I plug it in for the next charge....anyone see anything wrong with these settings? My objective is to get a full charge pack voltage of 57V. Thanks! |

Re: Changed my BMS (ZEVA) settings....I think I got it right
Since You are using conservative values, you can change:
BMS Max V (per cell): 4.10That will allow more "Head Room" for any cell that is above your target average charging voltage of 4.071vpc to go above the average until the balancing shunts can bring it back down to the average voltage level level. |
