Last update: The carburetor seems to have fixed the level ground starting issue. Cart runs good, just won't charge the battery. I created a different thread for that issue.

FYI for anyone interested.. The cart is finally fixed! It always ran well, but would not start if on an uphill, or with two adults, etc. I chased this issue almost a year.
I replaced the fuel pump, coil, and carb,...all with no joy. Today, I replaced the crank seals and it starts like a scared rabbit. Aaaaaaaaah, finally. |

if you grond anything to the frame elec system goes nuts spark or charging or both. yamys electric system is like the redheaded step child,unlike any other ground controls evertthing if any black wires are bad somthing quits

UPDATE: This thread got jumbled with the not charging thread. FYI, this “only starts on level ground” and the Cart moves before engine start” thread were the same problem. Crank seals fixed it and NOT the carb as previously stated.
