Brush Guard G2-G19
Can anyone share how a G2-G19 brush guard looks like? Mainly looking for where to connect the thing to the frame. I'm supose to make one, but only have a G29 version. So I have to remake some parts.

Re: Brush Guard G2-G19
If you have fabrication skills and equipment it shouldn't be too difficult. Just find the main frame hoop in the front and connect to that. You can weld on some threaded bungs to make it removable. You'll have to fabricate parts in between the frame and the brush guard, that's the tricky part. It's easy to do if you don't care what it looks like, but to look good, that's another story.
I used a 2" receiver hitch, welded it to the top of the front frame hoop. I can make any bumper/brush guard that has a 2" square tube on it so it will insert into the 2" receiver. Simple and strong. |
