2007 Yamaha ydra
I have installed new batteries, new solenoid, new switch that attaches to right side of throttle pedal ( If sitting on cart) ,have Checked key switch, forward/reverse switch, switch thats on the left side of throttle pedal close to brake pedal, fuses yet i dont have any power coming out of solenoid going into controller?? Seems as tho not grounded? The foreword/reverse switch doesn’t light up either?

I have only located 1 fuse under the seat ?abouit 6” Frim tow/run switch

Is the buzzer working in reverse? Points to the controller, they're prone to fail. The negative to solenoid is provided by the controller.

I read earlier not to get the factory controller but to use someone’s that’s affiliated with us? Also that its a better solenoid?

Ydra = gas model / ydre = electric
And yes, when key switch turned on, the controller will be powered first, second step when accelerating is sending " negative " to solenoid for activation. Some month ago, i've had a not running 2007 Ydre. Finally i've purchased a new aftermarket Alltrax controller and the cart was back to life. Easy Install and direct fit, fully adjustable by the owner ( laptop required ) and realtime monitoring for easy troubleshooting. Plus more torque/speed included. |
