Default 87 CC Solenoid Issues on #5

Help Please on a Club Car:

I have an 87 with a serial number starting with A8721.
I recently noticed my fifth solenoid (starboard side) was not engaging. Since I had five new ones in stock, I replaced all of them because they had been in use for five years.

Despite all that I am back to square one with my #5 solenoid not engaging!

Looking back in my records it appears that I also replaced the slide switch assembly about the same time which was May 2017.

The way I understand it is the micro switch on the slide sends a wake call to each solenoid to engage each ascending speed stage. Is that a correct assumption??

I took many pictures during the during the disassembly and I am relatively confident I have all my solenoid wires placed correctly.

So with the rear wheels off the ground I am back to square one. Does anybody agree that my next step should be to pull out the slide switch and check the micro switch??

Yes, disassemble the slide switch box and check all the microswitches and their connections.

It sounds like you may need to replace a microswitch, I had to do this on the little slide box. Its not hard, just time consuming and very tiny tools lol.
