club car starting issue
I have a 1996 fe290 Club Car can't seem to get enough fuel in the new fuel filters to allow the engine to start. Replace the fuel pump spark plug.

Re: club car starting issue
Do you get ANY fuel in the filters? You'll never get them full. Usually around half full at best with just a bit trickling through. Can you get it to fire with starting fluid or carb cleaner sprayed into the carb intake? Have you checked spark? Have you checked compression?

If you have a syringe, remove the pipe at the tank and push fuel through the system with the syringe, it primes the system, works every time!

Also, check the pick up tube in the tank. They get clogged up and will not let much fuel pass. Youll never get the filters full as these are pretty much gravity fed with very little vacuum.
