engine upgrade
I have a G1 1980 yamaha cart that is just stock now. Does any one know what is the easiest engine upgrade that doesn't require alot of modifications? I don't want to break the bank either.

Re: engine upgrade
What Goat is saying is a G1 has a 2stroke engine. Forward or Reverse is achieved by running the motor forward or backwards.....that can only be done with a 2 stroke...The cart's rear end has no F&R gears . Some guys have put 4 stroke motors into these but IMHO they are just too big to push for reverse... 6ptg
