Question G22 Motor Dead - What should I replace it with?

Cart: 2003 G22e, 6 inch lift, 23" tires, Alltrax xct500, 400amp solenoid, 2 gauge cables throughout, 230ah Lifepo4 pack, 250amp BMS, rear seat kit... and it did have an FSIP 221-48VSPEEDEY motor.

The FSIP motor had 2 brushes stick and they melted the brush holders and even arc welded onto the armature! Very cool to see except when it effects the wallet. Anyhow, that motor is sent off to FSIP for rebuild. In the meantime, I have been researching some options. I usually only drive flat neighborhood streets. I had everything adjusted to around a max of 30mph but I usually cruised around 23-25mph. 30mph was just for going down two certain streets. So experts... what should I get?

D&D Motor? 501 or 502?
Admiral B2, B4, or D2 (I see that any of those would work in my cart 19 spline and regen)?
Continue with the FSIP speedey?
A Plowman Motor?

What is the current consensus?

I have D&D in both of my G29 carts. You should contact D&D to find out what model they recommend for your setup. Get the proper field map for the Alltrax also. I don't have any experience with your other motor choices.

I would call Don Plowman and discuss his Riot Kit. He has several setups designed for torgue, speed or both.

He was my first call, but he is on vacation. The one time my motor goes out...

I am down to the Admiral D2, or D&D 170-502-0001. Any thoughts? Admiral has more HP supposedly, but D&D is supposed to have a great reputation.

HP is not much of a rating for these motors. Doesn't mean it will produce more power.
