Default Painting Roof and Roof Supports - Yamaha G14

I have a Yamaha G14 that I want to paint the roof (plastic) and roof supports (aluminum) on. I have tried this on other carts in the past and it seems not to stick, but all I used was rattle cans. Is there any cost effective product out there that will make the paint stick?

For painting your aluminum I have used a product called SEM with good results. Here is a link https://www.amazon.com/SEM-39673-Bla...etching+primer

Most cars have plastic bits now and I'm pretty sure that the painters use some type of flex agent mixed in with the paint, so the paint does not peel off.

You could try your local body shop supply house for your supplies.

Another thought is go to the local body shop and maybe the painter is willing to help you out.

After sanding/scuffing you need to apply adhesive promoter. You can buy rattle cans at Advance Auto or by the quart at auto paint store. I use Bulldog Adhesive Promoter.
Next prime with a compatible primer.
Now you are ready to topcoat.
