Battery Issues with Precedent ???
Hey guys new to the site. I bought a 2007 Club Car Precedent IQ and on the second outing with my little girl, as we were driving she decided to reach down and turn the key off. I had no issues until this point in time with the cart, however now the battery light seems to stay on when the key is off and in neutral, and the battery seems to not be staying chrarged for very long. Any suggestions?

Re: Battery Issues with Precedent ???
I dont think turning key off is a problem unless you were on a long down grade so you lost braking action allowing over speed which could damage motor, controller, or speed sensor. None of these should have anything to do directly with battery light staying on. The OBC is saying that you have a battery problem which could be low charge or cables etc. You need to test your batterys and look for a weak battery or overall pack voltage. Go to STICKIES under "State Of Charge Readings" and compare with your test results.
