still jerking
I have a 2001 Club Car48volt with new batteries. The car operates fine with one exception. When pressing the petal slowly to move forward slowly the car jerks on and off until the petal is pressed firmly all the way.Already replaced the MCOR!

Re: still jerking
Is this either a series CC or a Regen2 or IQ as 2001 was transition year so need info to help forum find problem? Need complete serial number from under passenger glove box so as not to be wasting time guessing.

Re: still jerking
My 2000 Does the same thing but it wont "Go" at all. Sometimes in runs like a bat out of hell! Sometimes not at all. Glad to see someone else is having this problem.
I'm changing the F&R switch today for starters. |

Re: still jerking
Old Mec! It's still me in Gonzales from a couple weeks ago.
Mcor ohmes out fine, stopped buy a golf cart shop today and they seem to think that with the high speed motor and 700 amp controller there is just might be no slow "belowe 5mph" to my cart ?! this is the previous thread http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...erking+a%2A%2A |

Re: still jerking
Sorry didnt recognize post?? Old AGE YOU KNOW? Ok if MCOR ohms range is smooth and correct at 5 to 0 ohms ( did I send you MCOR test procedure)? I contact too many for this old brain at times? ) I have a couple of question on controller set up? Is the Logistic that you got a programable one? and if it is did you have it factory set for your MCOR, voltage, etc? Most programable require pre setting to your carts controls before installation? I am most familiar with ALLTRAX and their units have alot of variables that must be set to match pedal input, 0-5 ohms or 5-0 low ohms, desending voltage, and high and under and out of range setting to name a few? The controller could not be getting a correct signal from MCOR AT LOW PEDAL OR COULD HAVE PROBLEM OF ITS OWN?
The only other thing I have found is worn linkage that could suddenly shift and cause sudden throttle movement when cart starts moving? I'm sorry as this is only a guess and I dont like to do that but not being able to see for myself must depend on owners doing tests. |

Re: still jerking
Just an after thought about your MCOR. I have 5 defective NEW MCOR units that I am trying to figure out how to open them and replace simple $3. micro, they were taken off new carts only because they wont engage ( EVERY TIME )? This problem was supposed to have been solved some time ago by manufacturer but maybe you got one still on a shelf some where? Or did you have this same problem before installing controller and new motor? This is only an after thought about your problem.
Glad you are calling Logistics to get their ideas on problem solution. |
