WANTED: Yamaha bravo engine
Hope I'm not breaking rules here. Hoping one of our northern members has or would have acess to the Yamaha bravo 250cc snowmobile engine with carb and exhaust. I would love to trade my 75 Harley golf cart engine assembly for one but willing to pay for it if you can use paypal and are willing to ship.. I just feel safer doing it this way.
thanks mike |

Re: WANTED: Yamaha bravo engine
This whole vintage snowmobile thing keeps the prices up. The only cheap way is to find a wrecked sled locally and in both our cases where we live not too likely. Got my sled engine for $350 from one of those northern snowy states crated and delivered here and sold off some off the original harley engine parts for $500. Both transactions on Ebay.

Re: WANTED: Yamaha bravo engine
I think the yamaha 250 enticer would also be very similar. Just make sure in either case you get the carb as they seem to be very costly.

Re: WANTED: Yamaha bravo engine
More so looking for the Bravo engine. It seems it has more fitting power band for my use. The exhaust setup also wouldn't need as much modifications from what I can tell. Agreed the Carbs are expensive with no after market ones that I can find.

Re: WANTED: Yamaha bravo engine
At the time of your auction I couldn't swing it. I did however finally found one with the carb. Now I just need the exhaust.
