Default Drive Belt

How do I tighten the drive belt on a 1986 ez-go gas Marathon? It runs on level but stalls on a hill.

What do you mean tighten? It should have a CVT transmission that "tightens" itself.

It does but someone told me it might be to loose. The belt is not 6 months old yet. Also the cart has 100 psi, but when you get the top of a step hill it won't move, but the motor keeps running, and seems to flood itself alot. Ant suggestions?
