Re: How-To OBC Bypass the Easy Way
Thank you for this great description.
I have made the changes as you suggested and the cart seems to operate same as prior to the changes. I still have it torn down so I am unable to run it around. I have attached a some pictures showing my work. Would you be so kind as to confirm if correct? Also, you mention that you can remove the OBC. The way this is wired we have connected the receptacle negative (going into the OBC) to the B- of the controller. I seems the OBC is still somewhat active at this point. I would prefer to remove the OBC entirely to eliminate confusion down the road. How would I go about this? |

Re: How-To OBC Bypass the Easy Way
OK, so after reading and rereading several times it appears that all I need to do is connect the blue and white wires going into the controller.
I have upgraded to lithium batteries and on board charger. I have removed the charging receptacle completely and won't be using at all. Is this correct please? |

Yes, I did them on the obc side of the plug and left the pigtails shrink wrapped and put out of the way.
