Any opinions on a 06 Precedent Electric
I am considering buying a 2006 Club Car Precedent Electric. Do any of you have any advice on this model or year? Is this one of the OCB problem years? Thank guys!

Had an '06 since 2012. Four 12's. No OCB problems or any other problems. Good year in my opinion.

Depends on which version OBC it has. It may be a problem. It may not. On the pink sticker on the OBC will be a version number. If it's v2.06 it's no good. Club Car dealers were supposed to change all of these out to a version 3.0 under warranty when the 3.0 was released but some slipped through the cracks. Even if that's an issue, it's not the end of the world. Otherwise, it's a great cart.

They are asking $2200 and it needs batteries soon. Very clean with lights but nothing else. Basically set up for golfing but with lights. I will put a back seat on it and been looking at upgrading to lithium, but not sure I can handle the price right now. This is going to be used to go to the beach and back so lift kit and new wheels can wait.

Where is the OBC at? Always had Ez Go's before. Now that at the beach I want the Club car.
