Default Carry all 6

Hello guys,

I am stumped and hoping someone is smarter than me!

I have a 2012 carry all 6 that keeps surging, dying and loosing power. I have checked my code reader multiple times over the last few months with multiple faults coming up. Hpd, low voltage, motor stall and motor drop out. I have changed both the mcor and also the speed sensor in the unit, cleaned and checked the battery terminals as well as the controller. But these issues still seem to persist. Any ideas?

Thanks

I'm not one of the smart guys on here, but I seem to remember someone had those type problems that turned out to be loose wires on key switch.

Mrgolf is correct. Loose wires on the keyswitch will cause the IQ Plus system to drop out if the connection is broken. It'll come to a complete stop and you'll have to start all over. There is a relay next to the solenoid that can cause issues like this as well, as can the solenoid itself. IQ Plus vehicles are much more complex than standard IQ golf cars. The relay is simply a 48 volt charger relay. Part number 103414901 and the solenoid is a 102774701.

Thumbs up Re: Carry all 6

Thanks guys! I would never have thought of the key switch. I did check it and seems good, pulled and checked the solenoid as well and seemed to be working fine as well, changed out the relay so well see hope that solves the issue.

Cheers
