Default Converting old Club Car to lithium

Hi everyone, I bought some G1 leaf batteries for my old Club car DS. I got 15 of them to get somewhwere around 38 volts. They said they're 40ah so if I understand these batteries I could configure them 10s3p or only use 14 and go 48 volts with 14s2p. The more I read through these threads I'm starting to think I'd be better off going 48 volts. I'd really appreciate some advice on this.

What are you using for a controller? That will dictate your desired voltage. If you use 14 modules, you will have 58V max when nearly fully charged.

It has the resistors. I will probably end up upgrading this summer if that's possible with my series motor.

currently running toasters with 12 cell Volt
works fine,no changes
One has v glide, the other is solenoid model
I use old 36v charger that gets it up to 48.5v.
I have added some low cell protection and over charge protection.

Are you using Sergio's relay setup with the solenoids and resistors? I've been reading through the forum and can't find any information on how to connect the relay setup to shut down the cart if there's a problem. I sure would appreciate any help.

Are you using the old 36v charger for the original lead batteries?

12cells would mean 6 leaf modules since they are cased 2 together in each case?
