Default 1995 Medalist EzGo - motor ?

I have a Medalist Electric 1995. I have disconnected all of the leads to my motor for cleaning. While disconnected I measured from each lead to the case of the motor. On the 1st and 3rd leads counting from front to back the measurment is an open circuit from lead to ground. On the 2nd and 4th lead I measure about 46 ohms from these leads to the case. I think this is a bad thing and that the motor is bad. Can anyone confirm this for me please?
PS ... 1 to 3 and 2 to 4 measure zero ohms.

Are you measuring from motor terminals i.e. A1/A2 S1/S2 to motor case?

That is not good. If you have continuity from any terminal to case then I'd say you need to make a trip to your favorite motor shop! At min I'd pull the motor and crack the case.

Sorry!

I was pretty sure that this was a bad thing and just wanted someone to confirm before I went through the hassle of pulling the motor. Thank you!!!
Guess I know what I'll be doing when I get home. Thanks again.
