Re: my golf course just took delivery of lithium battery carts
better photos than what our sales rep showed us dealers. There are 3 options for buying these, and they are pricey. Ezgo claims to have a patient on this new technology, so we dealers won't have to worry about other companies copying for years to come....I was told. i'm not going to hold my breath on that one.

I think Garia has been using those same Samsung batteries for a couple of years now.

Lighter weight and faster charging. Longer run times at the same speed/power, but with the potential for higher power. AC motors are practically maintenance free. In the short term battery packs will be expensive if they need to be replaced, but costs will come down with competition and demand/popularity.
Golf clubs don't need people running 35mph all over the place, but when the GP starts to get ahold of these the real fun will begin! |

Re: my golf course just took delivery of lithium battery carts
Gimme-gimmie-gimmie.... Oh wait, been there, did that. (not yet with ezgo's lithium, but with our own lithiums). Yep, they perform incredibly well, but still have some "delta/speed" limits that prevent awesome donuts & burnouts wit the stock controller. Won't let you get "full drift" with a stock controller, some more fun can be had with their 350a controller package. Even with the huge weight loss (and a secret tune) , it still "knows" when things are getting a little too crazy for ezgo's lawyer department. At least it doesn't report you to the CIA like your TV might . Or does it?
