Default 91 2Stroke Replacement Clutch won’t fit

My 91 Marathon 2 Stroke was slow to take off and would then rattle from the engine area when it got up to speed. I have since taken the drive clutch off the engine. I’ve seen you can’t rebuild these so went ahead and ordered a new clutch from the part number and year.

I have ordered two for my year and tried the model older when the first two didn’t fit. The opening is the right size but the taper is off. Causing them to only go on the shaft .5 inch instead of the 1.5-2 inches the old clutch was.

Has anyone had a similar issue or where have you bought clutches that fit?

Pics are a small washer to show the new clutch tapers to smaller than the old clutch. Last is the fingers in the clutch that wiggle, not sure if they are supposed to or not but guessing not

Hmmm, I wonder if you're getting clutches for a 2pg? Looks like you have a 3pg which would be correct for the year

The last pic shows the flyweights cocking off to side you have some wear there pull them and check the pin and bores for wear.

May I ask where you are sourcing your clutches? Any place I look seems to be wanting to sell a puck type clutch and I would like find a weights and roller drive clutch for my '85
