Re: Who's planning on modding their carts?
Also, our carts come with a controller that is capable of having two sets of parameters and are already set up to accept a switch.

Re: Who's planning on modding their carts?
My understanding as well reganr, they utilize a rocker type F/R switch so sounds pretty simple once you have a wiring diagram. Seems preferable to using different speed chips and having to stop and swap each time the need arises.

Re: Who's planning on modding their carts?
I 'll probebly be begging to rent the cable from you if it works (shipping both ways on me of course), others have had problems with the jumper wiring. The controller manual doesn't look too complicated, but we still need the gear ratio of the individual cart (are lifted and stock the same) and the motor specs to know the adjustment limits of some parameters.

Re: Who's planning on modding their carts?
Anybody here can borrow the cable, no problem. It was fairly easy to make. I wish I could test it first. I'm not even sure if I have the right connectors. It's pinned out according to the Curtis Controller Thread.
The guy from zenn30 emailed me back. He used the 1268 manual as reference for his GE Controller. He doesn't own a 1268 controller therefore didn't know what exactly what parameters to change. He did think the cart was capable of much higher speeds given our specs. (he took his Zenn from 25mph to 65mph with lots of mods) |

Re: Who's planning on modding their carts?
One more pic. I'm fairly certain I have the right connectors. If the pinout is correct, we should be good to go. I'll add some disconnects just in case
