My EzG0 MPT 1200
New to me............EzG0 MPT 1200
350cc, Fugi two cylinder engine Electric hoist bed Champion 2,000 lb winch 20" dual row LED light bar Jake's 6" lift with AMS Swamp Fox 23 x 10-12 tires I am fairly certain I can add taller tires, but I will wait until they wear out I already changed the plugs (NGK 657, air filter (Donaldson #P822686) and the fuel filter. I added cleaner/stabilizer to the tank..........after a fresh fill up of 91 octane I added a "Caddy Shift" F/N/R lever, that is SO MUCH nicer! I bought and wired up a NOCO Genius 2 charger for the battery I am trying to modify and install a half windshield setup this winter. Winter project also includes changing the rear axle fluid and an oil change in the engine I would also like to install LED bulbs in the head lights, if they are replaceable and not a one piece sealed unit? Eventually, a 16hp to 18hp engine swap would be great!! I am just trying to figure out the cart model year, since the tag in the pass side storage compartment area is gone. All I have is a serial number tag, on the driver side frame rail area. After I purchased the cart, I power washed the cart and gave it a good thorough cleaning. It was a farm cart that needed some TLC! |

Also, been thinking about adjusting the governor rod...........how much faster will the cart be able to go? 5mph? |

U should be able to just unplug the buzzer on gas cart but definitely be careful adjusting the governor too much can stain the motor more. Upgrading to bigger tires will help with top speed

Re: My EzG0 MPT 1200
Change the engine oil / oil filter today and also the rear axle fluid
Both were very easy to do The electric hoist bed is a great tool, as I recently moved a ton of landscaping river rock and didn't have to kill myself using a wheel barrow Next I want to mess around with the governor and see if I can get more speed I need a new drive belt and generator belt also, just ordered a severe duty double cog belt |

Re: My EzG0 MPT 1200
You can wind in the governor spring compression nut to gain a little, but if you go too far, you will hit the rev limiter on the ignition and the engine will stutter at full revs. If this happens, back off the nut until it runs smooth again. Ideally you don't want to go too far or you will end up replacing your inlet valves in short time. The safest speed upgrade is taller tires or higher gearing but you will lose torque for hauling weight and hill climbing ability. Even better would be a v twin engine kit, but we are talking serious investment to do this.
