Thumbs up GE series motor for CC

Here is the info on the Club Car motor I have been running on 72 volts. It's a tough GE motor. Motor tag has all the info on it.
$350.00 + shipping which should be around $55.00.
This is a high speed motor in the Woody it ran 30/35 MPH in the dragster it ran best of 60MPH with high speed gear set.
Not recommended if you have off road tires.

Yes it did and does. I just took it out Thursday. It ran 60 MPH in my dragster cart!
Plum Quick worked on it for me to run it on 72 volts.

LOL Ok that makes sense. That little bit of info about PQ rebuilding it to run on 72 volts. answers all. The way you posted it. It sounds like you took a stock GE 36 volt motor and was running it on 72 volts. So the sticker on the motor don't mean anything. Does this only work on a CC cart

Well I did for awhile but after I told Robby about it he suggested I bring it to him. I don't know what he did other than checked out for me. I think he put bigger brushes in it maybe.
Yes it has the 10 spline coupler but it could fit anything. It doesn't use the collar like most CC motors.
To be 100% sure though I have no idea. It didn't have the bottom motor mount like most CC have either I added it after I got it.
