Re: MuleCart76 00 Club Car DS Regen Project
Here are some pics of the tear down, its almost too hot to work but I got started. I haven't found anything wrong yet besides the batteries are in bad shape and most of connections are rusty and corroded.

Invest in some acid wash stuff and 3 new tie-rod ends. If they would have had adequate grease in them, they wouldn't be that rusty.

Re: MuleCart76 00 Club Car DS Regen Project
already got the tie rods, I bought a box of spare parts of of ebay, brand new and got a great deal, there happened to be couple in there. I have a question, if I put a lift on it will the kit replace the tie rods? I am already planning a good wash just have to get the electronics off completely. Would you take off the motor as well? Not sure if it would hurt it?

Re: MuleCart76 00 Club Car DS Regen Project
As long as you don't blast the heck out of it, I don't think it would hurt it.
If you get a lift kit, chances are it will not come with new tie rods. Don't get BU lift kits, I made that mistake but one time! |

I used to like the BU catalog, but I prefer Charmin in my bathroom.

None of the lift I have seen come with ti rods in the kit. Tie rods are cheap.....really any of the bushings are cheap. I know the spring bushings are like $2.

Re: MuleCart76 00 Club Car DS Regen Project
I wasn't sure what it comes with, I never put one on, I am thinking maybe early next year for a lift, I just want to get it back in good shape, maybe some paint, and a few add ons.

And then you're off onto a long, harsh road of steep expenditures and sleepless nights trying to figure out how to make it better.
