Cushman (Steiner) Hawk transaxle differential - New Thread
Hello I have a "cushman hawk 7970xx series" and it has lost its drive forward and reverse. Seems to engage the clutch fine but does not move. Any ideas for finding a new rear differential or repair? Thanks, Bill

Thank you I sent an email to the address you have included above. Pretty sick about it being out of service. It is a nice cart with very little rust and a new Vanguard engine. Any ideas are definitely appreciated!!

I had the planetary gears machined and hardened, put the trans back together and it works fine.

Just about any machine shop should be able to machine new gears if you take the old parts to them to go by. Cost me $120for the 4 gears.
