Default Clutch for 301 Predator?

New here and don’t know too much about golf carts yet. Just bought a 83 EZGO gas cart, gonna put in a 301cc Predator. What type of clutch are you guys using? (Links would be awesome)... don’t know all the technical terms for everything yet, so bear with me... Everything I’m finding on my internet searches is basically clutches that use some kind of chain as if it were a go kart. I’m looking for just a basic drive clutch 1” to run a belt straight from the motor to the rearend. Any help would be appreciated and links would be awesome. TIA

Did you replace the rear end? I thought the rear end on an 83 was sideways? If so I don’t think you’re going to put any kind of a different motor in it without a newer rear end

I would use a 420 instead of the 301. Finding a clutch to fit the belt on a 301 is challenging because it has a smaller shaft (I believe 3/4”). With a 420 you get a 1” shaft and I used a cvtech clutch worked great.
