Made some progress on the 48v conversion. Installed the six 8v batts, a heavy duty White 48v solenoid, and a new CC F&R switch. The batts look good in there. I wired up the ignition and lights. Completed a brake job (it can be done without removing the axles if your snap-ring pliers are too fat like mine) And installed the new 22x11x10 tires and wheels with chrome centers and lugs.
I think they kinda set it off nice without saying I'm for show!
Afterall, I'm gonna but a cargo box on this ranch cart.

Glad to do so I got the back half of the late model body on. I got a steering wheel from a Precident, and some new syle seats and bumpers. It will be fun to see it come together.

I got the cowl on, it is an '03 body. The late model bumper was a little bit of a challenge. I decided to mount the headlights in the old style top holes and then drill the frame for the new style bumper. Of course it all had to go on together at one time. Having drilled the old style holes in the top of the new bumper, I mounted the lights while bolting the cowl and bumper together. I think it worked out good. The bumper is quite stout.

I pretty much finished this cart up today. I put a cargo box from Stretch Plastics on it. I had to fab a bunch of the mounts today because I was using the NEW style bumpers and seat backs. Somehow I got my signals crossed with my supplier and had to fab up a mount for the rear roof support as it fit neither the old or the new style roof I had. I went with the old style roof because I have a new windshield for it - yet to be installed. All in all I like the way it looks for a working ranch cart. I know the 48v will haul but uphill.
I have some small stuff to finish but couldn't resist driving it out to take a few pics >>>>
