Cable hanging loose.
I just recently purchased a club car DS not exactly sure of the year, it is older, has the plastic flares on the rear wheel arches.
I have it torn apart to paint the body, and today the temp actually got up to 50, so I rolled it out to power wash the chassis suspension and motor. After I was done I just happened to notice a black cable hanging loose, I turned the key on and it starts, but I want to put it where it belongs. There are 2 black cables connected to a post on the starter motor, one goes to a bolt on the motor (ground), and the other just hangs there. Now I suspect this other black cable is supposed to go to chassis ground, but wanted to confirm that before I hook it up. Oddly enough, from looking at the cable, it almost looks as if it has never been hooked up,if it had been hooked up it would still have the ring connector on it, or on a bolt or post, but it's not there. Thanks Tim |

Re: Cable hanging loose.
There should be a 1/4 or 5/16 bolt on an upright piece of the aluminum frame on the drivers side right beside the starter/gen. It will be kinda high on the upright and easy to miss. put a new end on it and reassy.
