Question 2007 yamaha drive rear seat speed reduction

I had a local dealer install a rear seat. When two adults sit in the back the speed is cut in half and feels like the brakes are on. What is the fix

It's normal to lose some speed, these carts were mainly designed to carry 2 adults and 40 lbs of clubs.
How big are the 4 adults?
Is this on flat road?
Did you check the tire pressures, should be 20-25 lbs.
Are the tires rubbing on the rear fenders?
Maybe the brakes are dragging.

Did you have a conversation with the dealer who installed the seat?
