Default Solenoid no click?

So my 2017 precedent is acting a little strange, should you have and audible click from the solenoid when you turn on the key or give it some gas?

Yes, after you depress the pedal and the MS in your MCOR closes. (As long as all the other permissives have been met)

Check for voltage across the small terminals of the solenoid when you press the pedal. That will rule out the microswitch.

I think my solenoid is welded shut, I don’t hear it click but the cart goes. I’ve notice a random battery drainage an this is my suspect.

If there is continuity across the solenoid large terminals with no power to the small terminals, then it is welded shut.

Unhook the batteries until you figure this out.
