Default VC460 Guages

Just got my VC 460 in and while I have everything apart was thinking what guages are necessary (or at least beneficial. I have a tach waiting and a volt meter. Was thinking oil pressure could be nice to have. Anyone else install any guages in a 460, or similar? Thanks
Dan

The VRX 460 doesn't have an oil pump -- so no oil pressure. A volt meter is nice and a cylinder head temp gauge are good. If you have the right gas tank -- a fuel gauge. A compass so you don't get lost in the woods.

Hah wow shows my experience with the 460! Thanks. I may add a fuel guages later, but for right now I am ok lifting the seat to look at the fill cap guage.

The hour meter on the cheapo tach is a really nice feature. I have the Equus for real time RPMS and the cheapo tach for the engine hours.

OHH good call Ray! I have the Equus but engine hours would be nice. On a side note, how many hours do you put on between oil changes on it?

On a fresh VC 460 I went with 45 minutes,2 hours ,10 hours and finally 25 hours.I also made up my magnetic dip stick which I clean off almost daily with my relocated S/G. One other gauge I use is the el cheapo bike speedometer which is also neat to have.

Would love to hear details on the magnetic dip stick and relocated s/g. Also I have never heard the term s/g, so that would help too lol

Got it. I just spent a while getting mine mounted bc the included bracket/hardware was wrong. I ordered the hour meter and bike speedo last night per your recommendation.

Now I just have to find a quieter exhaust. They say the walker is supposed to be very quiet, but mine certainly is not. I cannot take it to my campground like this.
