Default Just bought a 1957 Chevy Club Car

Hi everyone. This is my first golf cart which I just purchased a couple weeks back. I figure I'll be posting questions to the forums soon so I should probably introduce myself and my CC first. I'm part of a local 1955 - 1957 Chevrolet club in the Pacific Northwest and when I stumbled across this cart it seemed like a fun thing to tow behind my classic Chevy and drive around at car shows. It's a 1993 gas Club Car with an older style 1957 Chevy fiberglass body. The previous owner had fun customizing it so there's not much more I want to do other than put on a windshield (I'm going to custom fabricate one) and remove the golf bag bar in the back. I saw another post on doing chrome vinyl wraps so I may try that on the bumpers and such if I get inspired. Otherwise, I'm just planning on having fun with it. What do you think?

BAD A$$!! and CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to BGW. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Looking good if you are going to tow it behind your car, be sure you keep the speed down and put the cart in tow mode before towing.

Very cool, and you have a real one too!

2 kewl, They make some cart wheels that look like the old American Racing wheels from the past that would really look great on that cart!

Thanks! I went ahead and got a trailer for it so I should have said transporting on a trailer instead of towing. When I transported it home, I just put it into neutral, set the brake and made sure the key was locked and out once it was all strapped down.

Bummer about the rain on the way, I still need to clean it up. First step, get it on the lift and do some inspections/learning... Havin' Fun!!!
