Default 2007 drive rear end grinding with pics

Played today and after three holes heard a grinding/ hard clicking from the rear left side. Took it straight back to the shed in reverse, which ran smooth without noise or grinding. Came back after the round and there was oil under the left rear. Any idea what has happened?

My first thought would be an exlpoded axle bearing. Can't say I've seen oil come out like that though.

Wheel seal is leaking probably from a bad wheel bearing like smallblock said. The noise not happening in reverse makes me think it might be something in the center chunk though.

Most likely an axle bearing but to replace the damaged seal the case needs to be split and the brake assembly needs to be removed. Also clean and inspect the brake clutches and check the intermediate gear and the input shaft.

Any idea what this should cost to have done? I can handle simple chores but not sure if I can handle splitting the case and so on.

Just changing the bearing is a pretty simple task. But will most likely still leak oil. It takes 1.5 to 2.0 hrs to remove the rear end disassemble and replace the seal. I always clean up the discs for the brake to they glaze over and will make noise when u stop. Almost like a grunt or grown
