Default New F & R put in but still nothing

1999 EZ GO electric 36 volt. The F & R switch was fried, but swtiches were good. switched them out but it is still dead. Nothing at all. Buzzer does not sound for Reverse. Nothing. Batteries check out good. now what?

Sounds like your micro switches may not be working or you have no power to them. Attached is the solenoid activation circuit for your cart

the F & R was fried so I got a new board and switch. at that time the switches on that board checked out ok. maybe it is in the pedal itself?

Check for voltage on the smaller of the three wires coming out of the charge receptacle.

Been gone for a week, now trying this and it seems it is either the controller or motor that is bad. Thoughts on how to tell which one?

Do you own a Voltmeter? You know...one of these:

Cause if you don't own one.....go buy one. They cost at most....$25. They make your life of diagnosing cart issues much easier. Just buy one.

reed switch is probly the problem if no reverse buzzer
