No pedal click but have new batteries in it

I just replaced batteries on wednesday and cart was doing fine. Left for the lake friday and kids were on cart and was fine. Came home today and nothing. I can turn the it to reverese and back up beeper works. But cart won't move forward or backwards. I have looked for a reset switch on the motor but don't see one. Any clues what to check next?

Did you charge it before you left?
What's the total battery pack voltage?

Yes it was charged. When I got home my father in law had it plugged in charging and thats when my kids jumped in getting ready to drive it and nothing there. Pedal goes down but you hear no clicking

What type of cart is it besides EZGO?
Year?
Resistor or controller?
Series, DCS or PDS?
Does it have a run/tow switch? If so, make sure it's in the run mode.
Does the beeper sound when the key is on and it's in reverse?

based on research from on line it is a 1991 ez go. I bought it from an estate sale and had no manuals or codes. I found manu. code and ran that but for what model or controller type unknown. New to the golf cart world.
