Pre 97 FE350 Carryall VI Governor Cable Length?
I've got a 95 Carryall VI that did not have a governor cable when I bought it. Just a hokey solid rod with a rigged up spring. Needless to say it doesn't really work properly. The correct OE part is NLA. Can anyone with a non-unitized Carryall VI measure their cable for me? I've seen reputable vendors saying that the 16 3/8" FE290 clevis pin gov cable of that era will work. And I've also seen pages recommending that the 20 3/4" z bend gov cable from later DS carts will work. Just need some help figuring out what to buy.
